Comments (0)Wouldn’t it be great if CALL Blocking could be used to keep you from doing something stupid.
Like calling someone on the West Coast – when you want a favor – at 6am because you get up at 5am EAST Coast time, so 8am feels like noon – so it must be okay to call =
I wish it was 30+ years ago, when we were all involved in developing custom calling services from Voice Mail to Call Blocking and had thought about a service where if you could program your phone to act like your computer before your delete something
So any time you dial outside your time zone you get a message like;
“The party you are calling is located in a different time zone, the local time is:
day, date, time – Press 1 to continue

Comments (0)Earlier today this wonderful fiber artist posted a message to an Art Quilt group asking if it was Okay to make stockings for her nephew and grandson in Blue & Orange & Black
Never mind the thoughts of NYS Trooper cars of years past – A high school I’d rather forget and even for a brief moment some snarky references to halloween,
Oh My GOODNESS,
Breaths there a mother who would not feel blessed to have
her child’s first stocking look like these
Yes Christine, it is so very much more than okay
and thank you for sharing your wonderful gift with us.
Peace of the Season

Comments (0)Words are so interesting, not just the ones we make up, or as TH would say, Speaking In Wheat – when I am tired I can spit out an entire paragraph with no sentence in “order”
But then there are words we all “think” we know what the other means when they use them.
And there are the wars that can result when really do not.
More interesting there are Abbreviations – acronyms and initialisms and buzzwords – MMOG can those all ever get you in trouble out of context.
Maybe I need to do is ask more often what people mean, and then explain what I think certain words mean and we can have a dialogue instead of a war of words.
What do you think?

Comments (1)Sometimes you have to do things just because you trust your friends. There isn’t enough time in the universe to do it all yourself
So Tink said I needed to make sure to claim my blog with Technorati, and Technorati said I have to post a message with the following link.
