Gotta Love the “Just Business” Attitude of the TheDonald
Let me get this straight . . .
We’re going to be “gifted”
with a health care plan we are forced to purchase
and are fined if we don’t,
Which purportedly covers at least ten million more people,
without adding a single new doctor,
but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents,
written by a committee whose chairman
says he doesn’t understand it,
passed by a Congress that didn’t read it but exempted themselves from it,
and signed by a Dumbo President who smokes,
with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn’t pay his taxes,
for which we’ll be taxed for four years
before any benefits take effect,
by a government which has already
bankrupted Social Security and Medicare,
all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese,
and financed by a country that’s broke!!!!!
‘What the hell could possibly go wrong?’
We all know what will go wrong……….question is what can/will we do about it????? We keep putting the same crooks back in office. Course, the selection keeps getting worse…………may be time to revisit 1776.
It would be nice to have a better choice of electable leaders. As is, I’m sorely tempted to void my absentee ballot when it arrives. There must be better candidates somewhere ‘out there’! Maybe we can get an ‘elect Jon Stewart’ write-in campaign started? He’s got to be better than those the major parties are offering up.
We have a rule in our house, if you did not accept your responsibility that comes with the privilege of voting, then you give up the right to opine about the resulting government.
When former NYC Mayor Ed Koch was doing early talk radio, he made a statement which stuck with me – There will never be the perfect candidate, but if you can find a 90/10 vote for that person.
I share the belief that 2012 is possibly the most important election that will ever occur or at least in my life time. I do not wish to live in a second or third world country and will act accordingly.
Take good care
