A Horse Whisperer is one who not only attempts to lead the horse to water, but also attempts to make them drink.

    Let’s Do Links - It’s So Blog-A-Mentary

    November 29th, 2006 at 12:04 pm » Comments (0)

We all have such widely varied interests and ways of expressing ourselves, that I find myself more enamored daily with Blogs-

And, as a marketing tool, well, here is what I wrote today to the Yahooligans of the TNNA-Designers & Teachers:

Recently in several “retailer” forums, there has been discussion about difficulty knowing who will be showing at Wholesale Events.

As a partial result of that, we have “opened” up our (TNNA-Designers & Teachers)Links for Viewing by “anyone” who happens onto our home page:
    http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/TNNA-Designers

Several Retailers have already let me know they see this as an EXCELLENT Resource and hope that all the “Designer & Teachers” will be sure to list themselves and their websites

This morning I added a NEW category of Links.
    Blog-A-Venturers
to our groups publically “viewable” links
    http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/TNNA-Designers/links

    And here is why.

If you read ALL the comments from Retailers when they talk about attending Markets, one of the reasons that always get mentioned is the chance to visit with and get to know the Designers.

It is certainly worth noting that the in just one week, CNA Magazine the Wall Street Journal and even our local county newspaper all had articles about the power of Blog-Marketing.

Blog-A-Venturers offers a unique opportunity to promote you, your brand, and your products with minimal investment.

Meanwhile, I’d love to do Links with any TNNA Designer or Teacher

    Let’s Blog About It!

    Tink made me do

    November 28th, 2006 at 11:08 am » Comments (1)

Sometimes you have to do things just because you trust your friends. There isn’t enough time in the universe to do it all yourself

So Tink said I needed to make sure to claim my blog with Technorati, and Technorati said I have to post a message with the following link.

Bond Is Back & his name is

    November 27th, 2006 at 12:08 pm » Comments (0)

    DANIEL CRAIG,

We love action movies - you know the kind you can lose yourself for an hour or two without straining your brain.

Ever since Sean Connery stopped being Bond, James Bond that is… I have not really enjoyed Bond movies…. at all.

So had been stalling each time TheHenry mentioned going to see the new Casino Royale - well on Saturday we ran out of errands - (meaning I was out of excuses) in time to make the “matinee/cheap/1/2 price” show at our small local threater

Wow I am glad I did. The only even vaguely negative thought throughout the entire movie was a fleeting during the first few minutes of the movie - “MMG how can they possible make the rest of the movie as good as this sequence”

Well they did so Ladies and Gentleman, even though

    • Roger Moore was a clown,
    • Timothy Dalton was dreadful,
    • Pierce Brosnan was, well, not believable, but with his looks and mannerisms a woman can forgive a lot - especially when you consider that fencing scene.
    • Then there are the other guys whom I cannot even remember - maybe its post-traumatic stress amnesia - their Bonds were so bad, I have to block it from my conscious mind

For me, Bond will always be about believable action and THE LOOK.

It is the look that says, when serious, you are in a world of trouble

And when it has that smirky quirky smile, it says you are about to fall into a whole different kind of heartache - good and bad.

Sean Connery has it and no Bond since him could do quite so much with either the Dead Serious or Smirky Quirky Boyish Babe catching lopsided closemouthed grin.

That first few minutes will rival the plaza scene from Heat (another movie with guys who can do the “look” and firmly set the tone,

    It is true

    FireFox & Blog-A-Venturing - Possible PSAs

    November 22nd, 2006 at 13:55 pm » Comments (0)

Okay just a reminder, yesterday I ’splained that PSA is Possible Spew Alert -

Anyone who follows my posts “in the groups” is likely to know I am *not*
a fan of pretty much anything Microsoft.

It is not just annoying, but a huge waste of time that EVERYTIME I am forced to come into contact with OutLaw Depress or Internet Exploder - I must immediately run both Spybot & Symantec.

You would think that a company who is supposed to lead the industry would not require the use of a morning after pill every time you came into contact with them

    Which brings me to FireFox

It is just too convenient to have several tabs open - I am so looking forward to being able to flip back to What Wheat Wrote and make Blog-ments about topics of interest while Blog-A-Venturing or visiting with the Yahooligan Groups.
